Long awaited, this is not so much an update of the 2003 original but a new version that’s been completely redesigned and redrawn.

CBGB is the iconic New York City music venue which opened in Manhattan’s East Village in 1973.  Its owner, Hilly Kristal, originally envisioned a club that featured “Country, BlueGrass, Blues” and “Other Music For Uplifting Gormandizers” (CBGB OMFUG).  It quickly morphed into the launchpad for some of the biggest names in punk, new wave and hardcore.

Unfortunately, CBGB closed its doors permanently October 15, 2006.  315 Bowery, the building that housed it, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.
