Based on the very unique, expressive and stylized hand writing of my friend Linda Cappel.

Linda and I met on Hotline, a peer-to-peer server network in the early 2000s, where she was one of the administrators.  Over the subsequent few years that followed, our friendship grew as we had chatted quite a lot and shared many common interests such as our love of graphic design and fonts.  After we became friends, she approached me about creating a font based on her handwriting, which we named after her Hotline handle: Redstar.  Eventually, Hotline kind of fizzled and we all just lost touch and scattered to the winds.

Sadly, a few years ago I received word from a friend of hers that she had passed away.
