Thurston Knudson (1894-1986) was an American composer and percussionist, popular in the 40s, 50s and 60s. This alum, widely considered to be his best work, was released by Tempo Record Company of America in 1949.

His discography features several collaborations with “Augie Goupil and his Royal Tahitians”, sometimes also billed as “Thurston Knudson, Augie Goupil and their Jungle Rhythmists”.
