Retro stencil face based on the logotype of the popular “Girder & Panel” building sets.

Kenner Toys released a variety of these toy construction sets on-and-off from 1957 to 1979. Consisting of horizontal and vertical plastic girders connecting to Masonite base boards to create the skeletal substructure which would then be sheathed with brightly coloured panels with translucent windows as well as roofing sections that emulated 20th century building styles. Other sets featured trusses, cantilevers and roadway sections to create bridges and turnpikes. Motors were later introduced that enabled the creation of elevators, functioning drawbridges and other mechanized structures.

Considered the historical transition between the metal Gilbert Erector Sets, popular between 1920 and 1950 and the modern rise of the plastic interlocking Lego blocks.
