Introduced in 1974, Hasbro‘s greatest innovation to the GI Joe Adventure Team since life-like hair (aka flocking).

The TV commercials showed Joe sliding down a string by one hand to escape his dangerous predicament.  What they didn’t tell you is after many such slides, the string would actually slice his rubber fingers right off.  Then you would have to screw a tea hook in it’s place. Still pretty cool though.
