Spiral Slicer – 256 glyphs, 4 weights.

Kitschy and slick commercial face inspired by the hand-rendered type on the vintage packaging of the miracle “Spiral Slicer”.

I stumbled on this moldy old flattened packaging at Mizener’s Flea Market on Highway 5 in Dundas.

The Spiral Slicer is a type of knife with a flat ring at one end to accommodate you finger and a screw at the other end to insert into the potato or other vegetable of your choice. You then start simultaneously twirling and cutting to create a decorative spiral cut.  Now YOU can amaze all your dinner guests.

This wondrous gizmo was manufactured and sold by the famous Popeil Bros. out of Chicago during the 50s, 60s and 70s.

To this day it’s been knocked off by many but we all know there’s only on true Gadget Master Spiral Slicer.

But wait there’s more!… Download NOW!
